Mark Saunders
Mark's background is in the art world. A graduate from Eton College and Manchester University in the UK, Mark worked for Sothebys International before branching out on his own with "The Salamander Gallery" in Pimlico, London. After a business tie-up with Thesaurus- Mark helped make immediate, worldwide "auction searches" possible. Realising the enormous potential of the internet, Mark founded Imand Ltd in 2003. Mark is also a fulltime representative for Fauna and Flora International.
Lara Garcia
Lara was a fulltime journalist for Lifestyle Asia and Taipan magazines after graduating in Communications from Schiller University, Paris. Now a mother of two, Lara also founded "Nat & Dan", a successful childrens' retail brand in the South East Asian market.
Michael Dinglasan
Mike attended college at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, before setting off to help manage the family business. After a successful adventure running a local branch of an international courier company, and years of experience under his belt editing articles for the trade magazine Marketing Horizons, Mike went out on a limb and paid his dues as a sales rep for a major US-based computer retailer before going full time as a writer.
Diorella Tan
Diorella graduated in Communication Arts from De La Salle University, Manila. Senior correspondent for the Lasallian newspaper, Diorella then moved onto being Editoial Assistant for People Asia as well as being a contributing writer for the GMA network, Cook magazine and Quantum X.
Tirso Ripoll
Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, Tirso is a graduate of De La Salle University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering. To make some extra cash in college, he got a job as a disc jockey at a local radio station hosting a Rock show called "The Electric Circus" at the same time formed the rock group Razorback in 1991. Oddly enough, while juggling the radio show,
the band and a new job as a test engineer at a semi-conductor factory, Razorback somehow got famous and quickly took over as "my main gig, man..." Signed to Sony Music Philippines, Tirso has written, recorded and produced 5 studio albums and continues still. Presently, Tirso also works as operations manager for the family cigar business.
Gomi Lao
After graduating from University Philippines, Baguio, Gomi became a graphic designer for the Ayala Foundation, and has won numerous awards nationally for his print designs. Also a part-time musical teacher at UP Baguio, Gomi is still trying to premiere his own musical! All this, as well as being a fulltime programmer and writer!
Vicky Macaskie
Having left her studies behind, Vicky started the Pavilion, a well known Montessori school in Barnes, London, before working for a well known Interior Designer. She also played a significant part in setting up the now very successful Ottakar's Book Store chain. Vicky lives with her three daughters- Alice, Georgia and Daisy in Salisbury, England and writes on an independent basis.
